Alberta: Five-year-old girl’s bravery in saving her father’s life was praised by Airdrie RCMP. Ellie Mae Lefebvre was with her father at their Crossfield home on March 26 when he unexpectedly experienced a medical crisis. After setting off their home’s medic alarm, Ellie remained composed and dialed 911. 911 later called the house and spoke with Ellie Mae to get further details. Her father received prompt attention from the RCMP and EMS.

Ryan Meeko gave Ellie a certificate for her courage and fast thinking on April 4 in addition to a few RCMP gifts.
