Cadillac Escalade IQ: $129,900 EV with 460-Mile Range

Cadillac has unveiled the pricing and specifications for the 2025 Escalade IQ, the electric version of its iconic luxury SUV. Starting at $129,900, the Escalade IQ is positioned at the pinnacle of Cadillac’s luxury-SUV lineup. It features standard all-wheel drive and a GM-estimated range of 460 miles, making it a standout among Cadillac’s growing EV portfolio.
The Escalade IQ will initially launch in four trims: Luxury 1, Sport 1, Luxury 2, and Sport 2. A stretched-wheelbase variant, the IQL, is expected to join the lineup later. Known for its opulence and grandiosity, the traditional Escalade has been associated with poor fuel economy. However, the all-electric Escalade IQ addresses this issue while maintaining its luxurious appeal.
As the flagship of Cadillac’s EV SUV lineup, the Escalade IQ sits above the smaller two-row Lyriq and the forthcoming three-row Vistiq. While it shares standard all-wheel drive with its siblings, the Escalade IQ boasts a superior range of 460 miles, according to GM. Its starting price is notably steep, exceeding the gas-powered Escalade’s base price by over $40,000, further solidifying its position as Cadillac’s most prestigious EV offering.
